Cerebral thromboembolism originated from arterial fibrillation – Is it preditable and prevbentative ? – *
Lately, we encounter many patients with atrial fibrillation, and they frequently develope cardioembolic stroke. The author, therefore, focus this cumbersome problem as listed below ; To start with, our clinical studies in atrial fibrillation in relation to embolic stroke followed by our multicenter study, cohort study, a study on primary prevention of cerebral stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation, a study in relation to esophageal echocardiographc study at the author's out-patient clinic, and also a prospective study just started in this country as well as several megastudies already accomplished in the United States and Europian countries.
