Quantification of Bone Mineral in the Vertebral Body and Whole Body Skeleton with a Newly Developed Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometric System Using a Multi-detector Array
The usefulness and safety of a newly developed bone mineral quantifyig DEXA system using a multi-detector array, the QDR-2000, were examined. The accuracy of measurements with this system is excellent, and it can quantify BMDs on lumbar AP images, lumbar lateral images and whole body images with high reliability and safety in metabolic bone diseases such as osteoporosis.
