A rapid recovery from pagophagia following treatment for iron deficiency anemia and TMJ disorder accompanied by masked depression
Pagophagia, or ice eating, is a particular expression of the more general phenomenon of pica and is closely associated with the development of iron deficiency anemia (IDA). The diagnosis of pagophagia and its treatment are not a common part of oral and maxillofacial practices.
