Results of the putpatient chemotherapy center of Kwasakaki Medical School Hospital in 2007 *
The Infusion Center of Cancer Chemotherapy for outpatients was opened in Kawasaki Medical School Hospital on January 29, 2007. Its one-year performance is summarized in this paper. The annual number of cases treated was 3,996 cases. Chemotherapy was carried out without any gross incidents as a result of our desirable risk management system established with the expertise of medical doctors, pharmacists and nurses. The value of the chemotherapy in cancer treatment and the numbers treated will continue to grow in the future. Therefore, we must continue our efforts to achieve cancer chemotherapy of high quality under our strict safety management system. (Accepted on July 24, 2009)
